Ilana Revkin is a freelance violist based in East Greenwich, Rhode Island.  She has been Strings Director at Rocky Hill Country Day School since 2023 and has been a core member of the La Bella Musica String Quartet since 2015.  She also teaches privately at her home.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in music and Italian from Vassar College, a master’s degree in musicology from Brandeis University, and a master’s degree in library science with a specialization in music librarianship from the University at Buffalo.  During this time, she studied viola with Ronald Carbone, Mary Ruth Ray, and Janz Castelo and performed in many ensembles of all sizes and a variety of styles.
